I’m Chris Daniels, happily married with 4 great kids that all attend the Bedford County Public Schools. Earlier this year I was appointed to the Bedford County School Board after an unexpected vacancy. I graciously gained the support of the majority of the school board members. As an active member of the Bedford County Republican Party and a contributing citizen of Bedford County, I also garnered the support of the endorsement committee with a 5-0 vote. Since appointed, I have been working hard to serve the District 7 residents, teachers, students, staff and families.
My Start in Business
I have been working in the private sector my entire life. Starting at the bottom as an hourly employee making sub sandwiches. I worked my way up to the area director responsible for over 100 stores and became a business owner as well. I currently own 16 companies that employ over 200 employees and feel that my business experience will serve Bedford County Public School systems well. I intend on using my experience and abilities to help overcome many of the personnel and financial decisions for Bedford County Publics Schools.
My Examples in Life
My parents were great examples of being involved parents at home, in school and at school board meetings. Their example was what led me to be shoulder to shoulder with other parents, teachers, staff and concerned Bedford County residents when their voices were suppressed during the 2020/21 school year. I have been attending meetings to pushback on the administration and question authority when it comes to protecting the civil liberties of our kids, parents, teachers and staff.
